Departing from the marina of Calvi, or from the small fishing port of Galéria where we have been established for 15 years, we set off aboard semi-rigid boats of exceptional size. The Tra Mare e Monti guides on board, all of Corsican origin, seat each participant on comfortable benches before presenting the schedule of the day and the proposed destination.
After about one hour at sea, the Scandola Nature Reserve, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and protected by the Corsican Natural Park, reveals unique landscapes: volcanic caves, protected beaches, cliffs shaped by eruptions with incredible colors. Scandola is also a living reserve where fauna, flora and the former habitats of Corsican shepherds are explained by your guides.
We then head to the village of Girolata, home to only 8 inhabitants and accessible exclusively by sea, for a visit of the village, lunch at a restaurant or a traditional picnic offered by our guides.
In the afternoon, we return to the reserve for a long swimming and relaxation stop, allowing you to fully enjoy the scenery and the many onboard facilities: sunbathing areas, deck shower, music… as well as fins, masks and snorkels.
BOATS FOR 10–12 PEOPLE: Measuring from 7.50 to 10.00 meters, equipped with silent and environmentally friendly four-stroke engines, these boats offer real onboard comfort: sink, shower, seats, sun canopy, sunbathing areas, swim ladder…
Prices from 1,600 euros per boat including guide and fuel.
